As part of the creation of the new subsidiary Vinadeis Bio, the organic division of Vinadeis has committed itself alongside Robert Eden, co-owner of Château Maris in Minervois Cru La Livinière, to making exceptional organic and biodynamic wines in the Languedoc.
“The Languedoc is in a position to become leader in the organic market, which is growing internationally,”
says Bertrand Girard, CEO at Vinadeis.
“We are convinced that the market is now mature enough to accept a structured and marketed offer coming from our terroir.”
Les Artisans du Bio is above all a common vision of sustainable organic viticulture between a pioneer in organic and biodynamic culture in the Languedoc, Robert Eden, and the number one wine producer in France, with great expertise in the industry and extensive experimental facilities, Vinadeis.
“Vinadeis, with its unique and varied terroirs spread over 17 000 hectares of vineyards in the Languedoc Roussillon, gives the opportunity to produce exceptional organic and biodynamic wines on an unequalled scale,”
says Robert Eden.
“It excites me to be able to express my know-how, my philosophy and my expertise on old vines coming from an ideal terroir for organic and biodynamic culture, to protect our land.”
Under the banner Les Artisans Bio, Vinadeis and Robert Eden aim to promote the development of organic and biodynamic production and take part in the development of a benchmark hub for organic viticulture in the Languedoc.
