CHÂTEAU

POUZOLS

Château de Pouzols has been in the Baron de Fournas Fabrezan family since 1437 and, over the past 550 years, the domaine has been passed down through 21 generations.

Today’s château was built in the 18th century on the remains of two former chateaux. Vines and olive groves have long been the domaine’s primary resources and these sun-drenched Minervois hillsides have been renowned for their high-quality wines since Roman times.

Over the past 200 years, wine has progressively become the primary production at Château Pouzols. The Barons de Fournas family grow their vines themselves and have proudly passed on their wine growing and winemaking savoir-faire from father to son.
